ILENE S. RUHOY, MD, PhD

Neurologist, Medical Director and Administrative Director

Ilene S. Ruhoy, MD, PhD is a neurologist and serves as Medical Director and Administrative Director in the Chiari EDS Center at Mount Sinai South Nassau.

Originally from New York City, she trained in both pediatric and adult neurology at the University of Washington and Seattle Children’s Hospital.

She completed her neuromuscular fellowship training at the University of Washington, graduated from the University of Arizona Integrative Medicine Fellowship, and earned certification from the Helms Medical Institute in Acupuncture for Physicians. She also holds a PhD in Environmental Toxicology.
